#PrezDayPortland Day 2 Recap

PORTLAND, OR – Day 2 in Portland was filled with closely contested games throughout the 6-8th grade Platinum Level divisions.
Here is a recap of the Top Divisions at each grade level:

2nd Grade (Class of 2027)
– #1 RMG Elite (Norcal) will face #4 Sacramento Yellow Jackets for the Championship at 1:20 PM.

3rd Grade (Class of 2026)

– #16 PDX (PNW) won the Pool and will face Team Fly (PNW) in the Final 4
– #3 RMG Elite (Norcal) vs #12 Sacramento Yellow Jackets in the Final 4

PDX will likely move into the Top 10 after this weekend (win or lose).

4th Grade (Class of 2025)

Elite 8

– #7 Sacramento Yellow Jackets (Norcal) vs #11 West Coast Select (MW)
– #8 Vegas Elite (MW) vs #2 MVP Elite (PNW)
– #12 Team Dojo (Socal) vs #6 JR Hoops (Socal)
– #13 Seattle Stars vs NY Gauchos

The Elite 8 features 5 ranked teams + the NY Gauchos.

5th Grade (Class of 2024)

Elite 8
– SRV vs NY Gauchos
– #13 Bout That Basketball vs #10 Seattle Stars
– #8 Colorado Hawks vs Power Play Hoops
– #19 Demo Prep vs #23 Vegas Elite

Day 2 featured no surprised as 4 of the ranked teams moved on to the Elite 8.

6th Grade (Class of 2023)

Elite 8

– Team Take Over vs #16 AZ Storm Black
– #5 West Coast All-Stars vs Riverside Hawks
– #2 City Ballers vs #13 ARC
– #6 Dynasty Elite vs Bay Area Clippers

Day 2 knocked off 7 ranked teams: #9 Vegas Elite, #4 Team DTermined, #15 Oakland Rebels Black, #20 SD Black Seals, #17 Billups Elite, #12 NW Panthers, and #23 Team Nikos Elite.
The most impressive teams on Day 2 were the Bay Area Clippers (will make their debut in Top 25 in March rankings) and AZ Storm Black. Losing teams that impressed, Billups Elite, SD Seal Team and NW Panthers.
